This was done primarily as a wallpaper for my phone, but also for my new article on the Ogou family in Haitian Vodou mythology.
I tried my best to capture the essence of the diverse members of the Ogou family - forger Iwas, burning with a deep fiery passion for war and women alike, healers, protectors, political figures, etc... The Ogou are a very complex and important family in Haitian Vodou mythology. Beginning with Ogou Batala, the father and mother of the Ogou, Badagri the general who plays an important role in my upcoming graphic novel, to Ossange the healer and Shango the divine lighting, wielding a double sided axe... Each member of the ogou family deserves their own article (future plans) they are so complex.
